Utilities
Telecom Council (UTC) is a global trade
association dedicated to creating a favorable business,
regulatory, and technological environment for companies
that own, manage, or provide critical telecommunications
systems in support of their core business. Founded in
1948 to advocate for the allocation of additional radio
spectrum for power utilities, UTC has evolved into a
dynamic organization that represents electric, gas,
and water utilities; natural gas pipelines; critical
infrastructure companies; and other industry stakeholders.
ZIV,
USA, Inc. designs and manufactures high-quality,
innovative Digital Protection, Control, Metering, and
Communications products for Substations, Power Lines,
and Electrical Power Machines. ZIV is a pioneer
in integrated protection and control systems with 15
years experience in integration and automation. Nowadays
the company is comprised of five manufacturing units,
2 engineering service units, and 4 international subsidiaries
with products and projects in over 80 countries. Of
recent addition, ZIV established a non-profit research
center for Smart Energy Grids with 40 engineers and
near $10 million investment. The center is actively
